Default Questions about wheels

So I'm considering getting new wheels and I have a few questions. The first one is the color choice. My car color is alloy and it can be hard to select the correct color wheel for that color. I'm considering either matte black or machined lipped. My second question is what do you do about a staggered wheel setup. If they are non-directional tires, how do you rotate them? Do you rotate them? The wheels I'm looking at are the stance SC-5ive wheels, 20x9 up front and 20x10 in the back. Another question is will the tire stick outside the fender? Let me know what you guys think!
And here's a pic of the car.

Black on alloy looks good, that's what I had before. My current wheels are 20x9 all the way around and they don't stick out past the fender at all. If you buy the correct offset they will fit just fine, and if you buy from a place that knows what they are doing (American Muscle or Tire Rack) they will know what fits and what. As far as the stance SC-5ive wheels you are talking about look a lot like the Vossen CV3 wheels which if I could do it again I would have waited and got some of those instead of what I have now.

I've tried looking everywhere, seeing if there is really a huge difference when comparing Vossen to Stance and all that I could find was that Vossen has the 5 year warranty. What wasn't so great about them in your opinion. I guess that I'll have to go with matte black; that's what I originally wanted but it's hard to convince why its better to go darker than to go with chrome around this house. Thanks!

I think black is too dark for Alloy as my first set were CS69s as pictured in my signature. And even with the machined lip, I was not happy with the look. I changed those out to '10 GT500 convertible wheels, which seem to contrast against the body color nicely.

One of our guys originally had the Stance SC5's on his SC300 before switching to the CV3's, and he told us that even though the Stance wheels were more in his budget at the time, the CV3's are WAY better. The chrome lip was very thin and fragile, dented easily when he accidentally dropped a lug nut on it from 2-3" above, the wheels never balanced well (steering wheel vibrations from 75 mph and up), and they were heavy (about 3-5 lbs heavier per wheel). Here's his car for reference on both wheels
Stance SC5 19x8.5 / 19x9.5

Vossen CV3 19x8.5 / 19x10

Now we do have the better warranty, covering the workmanship of the wheel for 5 years and the structural integrity for life.

So it just comes down to your budget, and if you want to buy the reps now or save up for CV3's (or another style). As for the wheels sticking out, that will come down to the offset, here's an S197 Shelby on our staggered 20x9 and 20x10.5" CV3's (higher offsets) to give you an idea of the overall fitment

And another, same specs, but on CV2's

If you have any other questions or concerns, feel free to email or pm us, we'd be happy to help!
