Default Tire clarification

So 4 months ago I bought FR500's for my 96 GT, size 265/35/18 on all corners. I didn't have enough to buy staggered. Well after the install I noticed the "tucked in" appearance on the rear. Still undecided, should I invest in wheel spacers, or should I get wider tires for my 18x9 rims? I'm either going with 275 or 285. Anyone on here have a similar setup with any 18x9 rims? They would help in my ultimate decision. Lastly would there be any fitment issues with either the 275s or 285s?

if all four wheels are the same size your tires should also be the same size. Having a wider rear tire, while helpful at reducing throttle induced oversteer, it would hurt the cars handling at the limit. The differences in sidewall deflection rates created by running different sized tires on the same size wheels can become quite unpredictable.

If you go with spacers make sure they are bolt on spacers not the sandwich plate kind. I'm running bolt ons on the back of my v6 daily because the small stock wheels on the v6 really sank in on the rear.
