hi everyone.i have a 2001 mustang gt,in the glove box the label only show's tire size as 15inch or 16inch,but the mustang gt came standard with 17inch wheels,what gives?

Sounds like Ford just put the wrong sticker in the glove box. You will have to go off of the pressure numbers on the tires you have. Many times tires are no longer OEM by the second set, so that sticker is pretty much useless by then anyway.

The non GT models used those sizes. You may also want to look at your doorjam to see if the 17" size is listed on the placard.

i don't see anything about tire size on the doorjam,the gt did come with 17 inch tires,right?
