Least amount of rim offset possible for 17x10.5 rims?
Anyone know how many MM of offset are required for the rears to fit?
I know the americanmuscle 10.5's offset is 28 to 30 mm, some american racing torque thrusts have only 18mm and up to 44 mm offset. Would these not fit? Would having them a bit closer together negatively effect anything?
I think it may look better imo with less of a deep dish look but i still want the wide tire look from the rear

The off-set is VERY important, when going with such a wide wheel. Since I see a New Edge Stang in your avi, I am going to figure this is your car (some people have avi's that are not even their own car, for whatever reason)
Anyway, If the off-set is not VERY close to ideal, you will have rubbing. The '99~'04 Mustangs, require a +28mm off-set (+/- a very small amount) If you were to install a much greater positive off-set, you would rub on the inside. A much lower positive off-set, you would move the wheel outward and rub on the outside.
Either way, it is a pretty good idea to do a bit of fender rolling to make sure that the tires don't get cut or damaged by a fender lip. Quite rare this is an issue, but sucks if you were to be the rare exception.
