95 tire question

I have 245-45-17 on my rear now.What size can i go up to that will still fit the car and 17in rim

If your wheels are OEM, they are 8" wide and are stuck with a 245 as the widest properly fitted tire. If you want wider tires, you are gonna need a wider wheel.
