long(ish) lasting Drag Radials??
Hey guys, I'm in the market for some drag radials soon, and I'd like to get some opinions from you guys. I'm looking for some drag radials that fit a 18x10 wheel, and will last a decent amount of time. I have 295/45/18 Nitto 255's (not the DR version) and honestly I haven't been impressed with their traction, even on my stock mustang. I also don't like that they're taller because it makes my 3.55 gears feel like 3.31 gears if not shorter due to them being an inch taller than stock. I'm putting 4.10's in this spring, and I'd like to be able to launch a little better. Recommend me a good drag radial that will last an okay amount of time! If I could get 10k out of them that would be ideal (they will be summer only tires, like April-September or so, I have a winter setup that I will use in the winter, so idealy I'd like some DR's that will last 2 summers and a few trips to the track. As long as they hook better than summer tires I'll be happy!

Going to see rain?
For a DD that sees any rainfall, NT555R Drags are the way to go. They work great in the wet, and provide a great improvement in traction over any standard street radial.
The Mickeys and others are great tires, and offer quite a bit better bite, but at the expense of tread life.
