Pothole strikes again!
A pothole ravaged my rear right tire. Leaving me with a flat on the NY Thruway this evening.
I'm on the space saver for the moment, but the wheel itself looks true still.
What can I do now though? Can I get away with replacing on tire or do I have to do them all? They have around 20,000 miles on them and are Toyo Proxes.

Could do two new tires to keep it balanced or if there is a lot of tread left and you aren't staggered put the new tire on the front. You just don't want two tires of different diameter ie. one new one and one significantly worn one on the rear since it would be bad for the diff. Same reason you don't want to run a donut on the rear if it is smaller diameter.

Hey steev, As long as you keep the tire specs the same on the individual axles their should not be much of an issue. The only nuance would be that when in comes to rotating tires or buying a new set you would have to take into account the different tires on the particular axle.
