Tire Trouble With 65 Mustang 17x7 Wheels
(Very new to rebuilding cars and such, so be warned)
I want 17x7 US Mags Standard wheels all around for my 65 Fastback. But I have no idea what size or brand of tires to get, and I can't seem to find a definitive answer anywhere. Looking for any help at all!

I think either a 205/50-17 or a 225/45-17 (about 25" tall) would work well on 7" wide wheels . . . as would 215/45-17 if you have no objection to a slightly shorter tire (about 24.7" tall).
I'm not sure how much more clearance the tires might need than what the wheels would need.
