Default WIR Kaukauna raceway

Just wandering if anyone around the Wisconsin area ever goes to this, always a good time on Friday nights and Saturdays for the test and tune or drag race competitions. $25 to register your car if you want to try it... Here's the link for details http://www.wirmotorsports.com. Only $10 admission and fairly cheap concession stand prices on food and beverages.

I've always gone to Great Lakes Dragaway, but talked to a group of guys from Fond Du Lac who said WIR was good to. Alot of stangs for their street racing night. Will be going there next time out.

Ummm if I were to guess maybe like 150 on a good night or more. That consists of top eliminators, hot rods, street drags, bikes and sleds. That's usually on their special event nights, last time I was there I think around 88 vehicles were running the course, but atm the end of the drag got flooded out so they were only running 1/8 miles. Should be fixed in the next week or two.

I used to drag race my '84 Monte Carlo SS with an aluminum 406. Good times.

Haven't been there in a few years.

Maybe this would be a good place to hold that 1st annual get-together we've been trying to put together. Small entry fee, a couple free passes down the 1/4, who knows.
