Default help

I resently purchased a 69 mustang coupe original 6 cylinder 3sp car. I am the 4th owner and the 2nd owner installed a 302 with a c4 automatic. The person i purchased the car from got a 4 sp toploader, bellhousing and zbar all 69 vintage. I purchased the frame side and engine side pivots for the zbar from cj pony. I bolted the bellhousing to the engine but found that the engine side pivot is about 3 inches to far back from the frame side pivot. I dont know what the problem is and hope someone can help me out. The frame side has 3 holes in the frame and only the very front and 2nd one have threaded inserts in them the back one is just a hole. The motor mounts are energy suspension mounts and the drivers side has the long part of the mount to the rear. The pass side has the long to the front. I tried to change how the mounts went but they will only bolt up one way or the mount hits the oil pan. Please help someone.
