Picked up my 2007 Outlander XLS to use as our primary vehicle. My wife is disabled and in a wheelchair. This was the best all around option, the tail gate feature makes loading her chair a breeze.
With a base 220hp and shared Lancer chassis, it's a surprisingly fun and chippy car to drive. In manualmatic mode, you can definitely spin tires in first and I love the handling. Far exceeded expectations.
Suspension Modifications:
MacPherson strut front, Multi-link rear, front and rear stabilizer bars.
Wheels/Tires Modifications:
18" Alloy wheels. P225/55R18 all season tires.
Interior/Exterior Modifications:
Skid Plates, Rear Tailgate, 650 watt Rockford Fosgate 9 speaker system, 10" Rockford "Punch" sub, Speed Sensitive volume control, 6 disc CD player w/ MP3 and built in hard drive, Bluetooth, DVD, Navigation, Telemetry, Sirius, Remote locks, Steering wheel controls, dual leather heated seats, Air Filtration system. Fold down 3rd row seating.
Future Modifications:
Unfortunately the US didn't see many of the mods for the newly designed 2007 Outlander. Japan customers had access to a full set of Rally inspired options. With a new design already out, it's not likely there will be many modding options. Read more ยป
