zw is giving some goodadvice. taking weigh of the front and working on weight tansfer is gonna be one of the most important things.. tire and wheel setups do make a differnce but a properly setup suspension will hook with anything. im 60 fting similar or beter times than guys running bigs and litles with real slicks. andi am on 17 inch wheels and tires all the way around.. im still using dragradials too. battey relocation k members and such will make a huge differnce and help withtraction a ton both on the track and on the street...

+1000000

That's the truth. I had my car on the scales yesterday, and the front rear ratio was 58.7% front 41.3% rear. The front outweighed the rear by 580lb!  YIKES THAT'S HORRIBLE. I have all the battery relocation stuff, but it's still gonna be pretty off.

The K member, coilovers, battery in the back, even a full tank of gas, can help offset this bad ratio our car's have. Just like you said, there are cars that can pull the wheels ON THE STREET with D/R's, just b/c of a dialed in suspension.

Zach, I have a suggestion that you might want to consider if it's not too big of a PITA. Unger the f/i & n2o times, write what they are running (ie how much boost or what size shot)

My numbers were on 0 psi, and a zero shot of nitrous!  haha, hopefully some 125 shot times from me soon. Before I can run nitrous in a quarter mile though I'm going to have to switch to 28" tall tires.

Finally made it back to the track.  Was a bit hot and humid, and track prep sucked, but I still managed a new best 1/4 mile time.  My previous best had a better 1/8 mile time (8.539 @ 80.54 mph then).  Anyway, here''s the new slip stats, I''ll post the slip up once I scan it in:

60''     1.919
330''    5.533
1/8     8.558
MPH    81.40
1000   11.158
1/4     13.356
MPH    102.50

Overall, I''m happy.  Wanted to try power shifting on the next run, but it was getting really late and I decided to go home.

By the way, I''m N/A, 2003 GT five speed, mods in sig.

Here''s the slip, I''m in the right lane:
