Default Steeda tri ax shifter

Cruz97GT05, I saw in another thread that you have this mod. Some of us have been waiting for someone to give us a report, SO
How do you like it and what would you compare it to?
Is it worth it?

I put the Steeda shifter in my 2005 about two months ago. It was easy to put in and works great.

Can you also give a brief write-up on how you installed it?

Thanks.

The June 05 issue of 5.0 Mustang and Super Fords has a complete install and review of the Steeda Tri-Ax shifter.

I ordered one on Tuesday, and she should be in tomorrow.

Yeah, I'de like to know if it has a better feel, if it looks much different than stock when installed, will the stock shift knob fit, is the stick length about the same, are the throws shorter, longer, or about the same, are there any tips for the install, how much it cost and where ya can get one. Ya know, just a couple little things like that!

It took about an hour an a half to put in. The stock shift knob fits. It looks stock from the inside of the car. If you want one call Steeda 945-960-0774.

It works great, speed shifting, better feel and, more positive shifts. The only down side is a little more noise becaues it is hard mounted to the floor.

Does it feel smoother than stock. Easier to find gears or ?
