Default Finally got the plates for my Mustang.

After weeks of getting the right documents, going down to North Carolina to do some paperwork, and jumping though hoops, I was able to get my recently deceased father's mustang transferred over to me in NY.

Since the car went to my mother (who has never driven and certainly didn't want it), I had to go though red tape trails to get the job done. Visiting the probate office in NC (more than once too) was a humbling experience. It reminded me of my first day in Russian language class in college, when I numbingly reallized that Russian used an entirely different alphabet. Yikes.

Now, all I have to do is get a Photo Inspection and a regular inspection. They should be done in the next few days.

Dealing with my father's death 2 months ago has been difficult enough. Getting a car titled in a different state with a death involved sure hasn't been very easy. It seems that the marathon is just about over.Whew!
