Default no power at low rpm

having troubles w my 90 notch, its started to loose throttle at low rpm especially when first starting out from being parked a few mins. i will pull out of the drive way and give it a bit of gas and when it feels as if the peddle isnt controling the ammt of gas the car is getting. ill push the gass half peddle and im only getting the throttle response of like 1/4...but at some point it catches up and runs stronger but not great...the rpms and "pull" is way low for the ammt of gas i give it and i hear a miss in the exhaust in the rear and the exhaust seems to be rough and noisy when in between buildings while accelerating. i did put a new exhaust on this a couple mths ago and it got smoother but not great...i can still hear the engine firing in front...id like it to be a bit quieter...least i think it should be(not so noisy under load..)

check the following :

spark plugs
plug wires
distributor rotor and cap
tps
iac

check your timing

if all that is good.. then welcome to the 2.3 88 hp [8D]

sell it and get a 91-93 when they had 105-110 hp

Its a 4 banger, Its always gonna be low power. I had to go up hills in 1st gear keeping RPM's up or I would be afraid of rolling backwards in my old mustang lmao
