1.  Does anyone (like Chilton's or Haynes) publish a repair manual that covers the later model convertibles?

2.  What do you guys recommend as a dressing/protetcant for the vinyl top?

Thanks, Jim

i dont know that anyone makes a convertible specific manual.  i know haynes makes a manual for s197, but it covers everything except the gt500.  i have a haynes manual for my 94, and just looked and it doesnt even have a convertible section in there.  so i dont know what to tell you about that.  but i always use raggtop on my top, and have also heard good things about aerospace 303 vinyl protectant.

+1 on Ragtop. I use the cleaner and preserver and really like it.  It gives the top a nice "new" look and last for about 2 months.  I've used other stuff but Ragtop seems to be the best.

Thanks for the advice on the top cleaner, ive been getting some small brown spots around the seams that i cant remove with soap and water and i was starting to fear that the top might be discoloring there. so i cant wait to try the ragtop cleaner...
