I had sent them all the info needed for a tune with the SCTx2 about a week ago
via email and was wondering if the info will be included with the kit or
will I have to wait for their email?

Would hate to get the package but no tune,checked my emails and there is nothing...

If you ordered the SCT& a tune it will arrive already tuned in the SCT that comes in the mail...gotta love brenspeed, you ll be happy

well I got it today and going to install it later on tonight after a brief road trip.

Just curious about the SCT x3 though..on the paper with it it says to install 'custom' tune..
so I just turn it on,apply the custom tune and everything is taken care of?
unplug and drive?

yup, there should be a page or two of directions.

"Don't worry, Be Happy" ... and you will with the Brenspeed tunes. Make sure to try our the different tunes as time goes by....

well got it installed in like an hour..

hmm..I don't know.I like it that it shifts so much more aggressivly and 'hops lol
with every shift,topped out the speedo REAL quick but the only thing that bothers
me is that power braking 2k,launching with the OD/TCS off it doesn't get up in the RPM
as it used to nor does it spin the tires as hard off the line.

Overall power is noticable but not as dramatic as I thought it would be.

When I reconnected the negative battery terminal and all the systems were loading up again,
I took it for a drive- the ((!)) symbol was on,not sure what it meant but it went away after
awhile.When I first took off in it,it was really 'hoppy' and felt really torquey but for some reason that hop just dissappeared.It felt REALLY torquey but it just like I said,went away though I felt
a power increase it lost it's 'hop' and I was like

I like the increases in HP but the hard shifts kinda bug me for some reason..actually no,
it kinda feels like power shifting in a manual lol.

time for GEARS!~

I wonder what made it 'hop' in the lower gears like that? I want to make it do it again and keep it
that way.It felt ALOT more responsive when I first put it on,then it became like normal.


Any ideas of what & why it is that did that?

I like that it shifts harder but I feel like I'll get annoyed by it after awhile after the novelty
wears off lol.
