Well, if it shifted OK for a couple weeks, than the stop bolts are very un-likely to be the issue. Besides, they will not make it hard to shift, just would not let it go completely into gear. How does the clutch feel? Does it seem to dis-engage completely? From a complete stop, with engine running, put into first gear. does the sound of the engine/rpm's change? Does the car "want" to move forward? Jazzer

The clutch feels fine, there's no movement it doesnt come out of gear or anything

Sounds like may be a warranty issue with shifter. Take the boot off and see if any bolts are loose or something. If so, DON'T tighten any that you didn't install as it may void warranty. Jazzer
