Shifter Sticks any Suggestions - 5/11/2008 9:56:18 AM    steve04cobra Posts: 73 Joined: 10/8/2006 Status: offline Ok, I installed a pro 5.0 a couple of weeks ago, and i've had no probs since, but last nite i noticed my shifter was sticky, it was hard bringing it out of 1st and putting in second and even second to third...now i left the stop bolts in on the shifter and i talked to a guy last nite and he said i should take them out since the t56 have built in stops in the tranny and that mite be the problem...is this true? or does anyone thinks its something else? _____________________________ 2004 Cobra Magnaflow xpipe/cb Pro 5.0 Shifter JLT CAI Post #: 1

Besides, they will not make it hard to shift, just would not let it go completely into gear. How does the clutch feel? Does it seem to dis-engage completely? From a complete stop, with engine running, put into first gear. does the sound of the engine/rpm's change? Take the boot off and see if any bolts are loose or something.
