So I have my 2005 Satin silver V6, and I want to put some mods on it!

For performance:
-C&L cold air intake with Xcal 3 tuner and 91 race tune from bama
-FRPP Dual exhaust
-3.73 or 4.10? gears with T-lok rear end
-ZEX 60 shot of nitrous (wet or dry?) but that wont be for a while

For looks:
-Black 18x9 deep dish bullitts from American Muscle
-20% window tint
-GT rockers
-GT rear bumper
-Fang front chin spoiler (should i paint it or leave it black?)
-Wheelskin window louvers
-Chrome billet grille with tri-bar pony emblem
-Clear or black front turn signals
-Black racing stripes painted on

So here are some questions...

1. Should i get 3.73 or 4.10 gears? The car is an automatic.

2. Any suggestions about nitrous would be great

3. If i get the fang chin spoiler, should i leave it black or get it painted?

4. Should i get the clear housing or the smoked housing for the front turn signals?

5. Any other opinions and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

1. Dont want to say the wrong answer

2. IMO I would go with a wet shot over a dry shot

3. Whatever you like, I don't have good taste for stuff like that

4. Got any pics of the smoked housing?

5. some suspension mods would help out a ton

yeah i like the painted look. and i realized theres not a huge difference in the smoked and clear, but ill probably go smoked. and what do you mean tail lights with a black bezel? and yeah a rear honeycomb panel would be pretty tight but thats not near the top of my mod list.

Everything sounds good. That's what great about a Mustang, there is so much you can do to make the car YOUR OWN. Do what you want!

1. 3.73 if your a DD, otherwise 4.10s. It's a moderately expensive upgrade.

2. Cant help you here. sorry.

3. Painted, gives the car a much more aggressive look when it matches the body.

4. Depends on the color of your wheels.

5. Sequential turn signals, 14" antenna, fender emblems, rear blackout panel

thanks for the opinions so far guys. so i'm going with 3.73s since its a DD. I'm going to paint the fang to match. I'll get the smoked corners.

to phunnyguy- i dont really want to get whole new tail lights, i like the stock ones on the s197. i think getting whole new tail lights is kind of rice, buts thats just my opinion.

Also, more questions.

Are sequential tail lights legal? I showed them to my dad and he says he thinks they are illegal.

And do you think i should go with a grill with fogs in it? or the chrome billet grille with the tribar pony emblem?

Oh and I like the look of the honycomb rear blackout, but I am getting the other things first.

And

I'd go 410's (I did). I also like the GT rockers and bumpers but I'm biased. Good choice on the wheels too!

Clear corners look good too.

^ oh yeah that looks great. I wish i could get a hood like that, but i cant drop that much money. Plus i already have the fiberglass hod with the hood scoop. And satin silver looks great with the gt rockers and black bullitts. also, that honeycomb panel is really nice. also where did you get those tail light black outlines or whatever they're called? i like those. the fuel door looks good, i cant decide between silver or black

black fuel door...would look hot....

i agree with you on the lights..pretty much, but just thought i would throw it out there....the lights i was referring to are inthe post above.....those would be sweet.....i think they make chrome/brushed ones too....thats actually what im looking for......pics of that style with a brushed or chrome look.

you could paint the grooves black on the stock lights...ive seen this done and it looks cool....

honeycomb blackout is cool...

as for the sequentials...i believe they are legal in all 50 states....just read the fine print carefully....i live in calif...and they are legal here...i know because i see them on a fair amount of stangs....

oh yeah get a black shorty antenna.....

Yep, sequentials are legal - standard equipment on some older stuff, and cut you own stock antenna to save money for other mods.
