ouch that sucks.  hopefully they can clean it all up in time for memorial weekend.
since most tracks have some good races on mem weekend.

Wow, it tore that track up pretty good. Hopefully they'll be able to get it back together with insurance money.

Wow!! I used to go to this track in the early nineties!!! I was stationed at FT. Hood back then. We used to hit the track then head to Waco to race on Valley Mills drive. People still doing that?

thats crazy, im stationed at hood right now. small world!! is this the track in academy, been wanting to go out there  but just got the car running.

Its the track outside of temple. Its a back woods sort of track. Spectators are seriously about 12 feet or less from the cars running in the right lane if they are standing along the fence as i remember it. Its been about 17 years since i have been there and it really looks the same.....well except for all the storm damage! My last run there sucked........it was in a 55 chevy. I broke a motor mount and shattered the distrubutor cap on the firewall on my burn out!! Ford are better just for the simple fact the distibutor is in the front if nothing else!
