Crap!!! I need exhaust help again!!! SLP and Magnaflow info needed! ASAP

The guy at the dealership did not order the Magnaflow Magnapack Cat back yesterday.

He wanted to wait to talk to me because I had mentioned getting a mid pipe put in later.

I looked at prices and it would be kinda costl.

So I got to thinking perhaps I should get some SLP's instead.

My question is this though...
I want it to sound mean and loud but not OBNOXIOUS loud.
I would like the sound of the new edges with good exhaust or as close as I can get without putting in an x or mid or lt's.

So here we go..
I read on the exhaust thread that the SLP's have two variations, the powerflow and loudmouths.
Both are said to be loud and agressive.
So how much more agressive are the powerflows compared to Magnaflow Magnapacks? Alot more? or not enough?
Are the loudmouths just VERY LOUD ? like wake up the neighbors loud?

I wouldnt mind getting something a bit louder and more agressive than the magnapack but I don't want it TOO loud.
I really need some help people.

If you could also post me a link to the products (the exact number of the product description, etc.)
for both the powerflow and loudmouths on SLP's site I would appreciate it. That way I can tell my guy which product number etc.

In my opinion, loudmouths were VERY loud... They sound good, but the SLP loudmouths have been very debatable on the forums for whether it sounds good or too loud and raspy. I think its probably too loud for what you are looking for. I havent heard the powerflows however.

I would recommend Corsa's or MAC exhaust. I have heard that the MAC exhaust has a lot of drone... but I have heard both systems in person on cruises. They sound amazing. It isnt obnoxious at all and it gives the car a really nice muscle car tone.

With your stock setup, powerflows and magnapacks will be about the same , the loudmouths however will be louder than both! i had them & i didnt think they were all that bad ..they seem too loud at first, but you get used to it real quick & want even more

...just be forewarned, they wont be a quiet setup ,but not too obnoxious

Get the SLPs or a straight custome pipe with no mufflers. I have the magnapaks and want them much louder. I really dont like mufflers.

I have the slp loudmouths and with the stock headers and h pipe. I am going for a loud wake the dead type car though so i'll be adding long tube headers and off-road h pipe soon. From my experience the slps have been great, not too loud with the stock headers and midpipe but can get obnoxious if paired with off-road midpipe and headers. I would def recommend the loudmouths.

I run Lm with a o/r x and its intense. Hot rod sound to them. People tell me thats the loudest car they have ever heared. coming from car guys too. It sounds nasty mean IMO like I have 800 hp....... to bad I only have half of that though
