TrickFlow Stage 1 cam on SD... - 5/16/2008 7:55:41 AM    elite130 Posts: 192 Joined: 6/28/2006 Status: offline I have the opportunity to pick up a used TFS Stage 1 cam for $80. How do these do on a stock SD 5.0L? I have a bone stock speed density 5.0L. I know the intake and heads will choke out the cam, but right now I have the motor out gettting it cleaned up after an oil leak and figured this would be a great time to install a cam. I wouldn't be upgrading the springs, lifters, or pushrods at the moment. I understand that is not the right way of doing it, but since I can get the cam cheap, I figured why not. So, can I run the TFS Stage 1 cam without any problems?
