So i was at the ford dealer where my brother works. All of a sudden here rolls up the Owner Mr Kemps. He was driving a white 98 Cobra R it only had 775 miles on it. That thing was so clean like if it just had been assembled fresh out of Detroit. So the Hood Gets poped open That beast had a 5.8 V8 under the hood. Everyone that was there was speech less. lol WOW!!!!!!!  He said that he bought it with that engine from Ford. Did these cars come with something that big a 5.8????? I'm not too familiar with 98 Cobra R's I know the 2000 Cobra R had a DOHC 5.4   By the way its FOR SALE FOR 40k ANY TAKERS????

I believe it was a 1995 Cobra R that had the 351, never heard of a 1998 Cobra R

Yup, no such thing as a 98 R. 95's were white and they had a 351 which is just under a 5.8.

Probably a '95 Cobra R. They were all white and came with a 5.7L 351.
