Update...wrecked but not the mustang...AGAIN....

All right the final chapter in thislongdrawn out drama........here we go.......sooooin the last update i was dealing with losing my lincoln for a 2400.00 check because of the wreck. 1400.00 was going to kentucky department of revnew for back taxes. i called them and asked about the lienon my lincoln and they said they dont put liens on cars just property. so i called my local courthouse and ask them...they say theres not one!!!! yea 4 me!!so i contact the insurance company and tell them i want to buy my car back. so now i still have my battle scared lincoln mark VIII-a few parts ANDyesterday i recived my check 2111.92 hell ya.......i get 1100 to put back into the mustang and heres what i just bought

spec stage 1 clutch
spec billet steel flywheel
new trac-loc 28 spline diff
motive bearing kit
royal purple gear oil
friction modifier
hawk hps front and rear brake pads
oil and filters for mine and my wifes cars
wipers for the wifes trailblazer
fuel filter for mustang and trailblazer
= 991.37

and the last 100.00 will go to the one thing i wanted the most(besides a s/c)

Now....howdark do i want 2 get it???? the tint laws here are NOT enforced at all.

god i cant wait for the stang 2 be 100% again......its been over a year of babyingitand not getting on it. AND now i have a new project.... DarthMark...ill have pics soon..

once again sorry for the long post but my wife dont care and i had to share with people that share the same love 4 there cars as me.

I actuly thought of your Mark VIII the other day when I was in the junk yard and ther was a near perfect VIII waiting for you to come take the front end pieces off from it. It tore me up to see such a beautiful car in the yard. But not enough to not steal the 4V valve covers off it

thanks for thinking about my poor car.

i only need the header panel,drivers side headlight + turn signal,grill,hood,and hood trimandpull the radaitor support out 5/8thsto get it back on the road. but im going to wait ive got some B I G plains for it...he he he ........

i love the ghost flames but i am thinking a nice jet black base coat with light grey ghost flames,chrome delete, tinted windows,tintedheadlights and tail lights

but the main thing will be a forged bottom end with a 96-98 cobra crank, 03-04 cobra heads and a kenny bell blower, but till i get the cash for the blowerjust a 99 cobra intake and full exaust with l/t headers

LOL.. brudda, you do all that to the lincoln and it's gonna be faster than the stang. lol I know, I had a forest green 95 LSC Mark VIII once upon a time. Though I had to get rid of it, cause I took it for inspection and they said it was going to need 6k in work just to pass inspection when I only owed 2k on the car. [&:]Sucks the big one because I LOVED that car, but I got my mach in the process so I"m not complainin.. hehe..

Still, a KB on a Mark VIII would definitely be woody inducing.. LOL

yeah thats the plan for now. the s/c is a long term project but theengine will be forged buy the end of the winter. The hood, wing and body work will start in a couple of months with the paint starting when i start school for autobody repair. Its funny that you say it will be faster than the stang cause about 5 months ago my brother was ran over by a semion the bridge going into cincinatti from Ky,so i let him use the lincoln for a month or 2. one night he called and said the battery light was flashing so i drove up there and fixed it,then we played. it will already give the stang a run for it money, i can get it off the line but that 4v will pull past redline and get the stang on top end. mark 8's are fast with very little mods.
