Default Filling in spoiler holes

What is the best way to get my spoiler holes filled? If you've had it done please tell me what method the bodyshop used and how much it cost. And if you have pictures of the underside of the trunk that would be great also.

Thanks

I did mine temporarilly with some little plastic grommets from the hardware store here and painted them with touch up to match. Once I decided I liked thelook, I had a body shop fill them with putty andthrow flat racing stripes over thewhole car (alsopainted 3rd light). Looks likethe spoiler was never there. The whole trunk would have to be repainted otherwise

W/o trying to make things too long here is what will be done.

1. Trim removed/stripped from trunk/deck lid
2. Immediate weld area (around holes) sanded down to bare metal with 80 grit
3. Weld through primer applied around holes
4. Holes welded up
5. Welds ground flush
6. Up to 5" out from welds ground down with a 60 grit disc
7. Filler applied and sanded with 80/120/220
8. Decklid/trunk is prepped
9. 3-4 Coats of primer applied
10. Primer wetsanded using 400/600
11. Base applied
12. Clear applied
13. Clear is wetsanded and buffed
14. Deck lid put back together and back on car. Much easier to do with it off of the car also cheaper due to time of R&I vs masking/using plastic onthe whole car.

Steps 12 and 13 may be swapped around and step 3 might be skipped. All depends on who is doing the work. As for cost it all depends on the shop. Youre lookin at 70-100 and hour on labor.
