Default Modified OEM H-pipe...would it work???

I currently have a o/r x-pipe set up and am happy with it. But I'm curious about what an o/r h-pipe would sound like paired with my SLP loudmouths. Instead of buying another mid-pipe setup, would it work to cut the cats off of my factory H-pipe and connect it (either by welding or band-clamp) to the elbows that came with my X-pipe?? Does the h-pipe have a lot deeper sound that what I have now??

yeah i did end up trying it. it wasn't welded in, so the whole system shook while driving down the highway. it was still as loud as my off-road x!

Anything matched with the SLP's is going to be loud guys. That A/B is one of the loudest out there and matched with an O/R anything, your looking at pure loud, either H or X, I dont think the sound is going to change that much. I see KOEHN is running the O/R X already. I have a Pypes O/R H that id be willing to sell if you really wanted to go that route. PM if your interested.
