finally runs and now it dosnt.

hey everyone..idk if any of ya remember me but i was converting a 88 HO 302 to carb. I was told just swap intake, timing cover and slap in my mechanical pump..along with differnt disty etc. Well i got the car goin a day ago. I decided after i got it all put back together id bring it home. I was on my way home coming down my street and i give it sum more gas and it pops a little then dies...It wont start..pulled the fuel pump and its like it has nothing inside to even run off of...ANyone able to help. Im hopin to just find a electric inline pump tommarow and get it goin..any help is appreciated..Also there was a site sumone linked me to all about doing the efi to carb HO 302 swap...anyone have that link i lost it...thanks.

81bird^^^^^^^^ignore the douche above=he's totally useless here.............anyway before removing any parts you should of checked for fuel or spark issues..spray some ether down the carb and crank..if it fires = fuel prob..if not grab an inline spark checker and test for spark.....what ignition system did you use??? duraspark???
