So I found an 83' mustang w/ a 306 and has some bolt ons. I heard a sound clip on youtube sounds good. It is carbed and looks ok. I am prob going to trade my not running 96' eclipse GST for it. We are asking about the same for our cars. Is there anythingI should look for or should I get some with better mileage. It has 4:10 gears so the mileage will probably suck. thanks

Get the mustang and trade in the eclipse for a gas milage dd. I have a diesel jetta (~50mpg) and a 88 stang.

is there anything I should look for. It has bored out 302 that was rebuilt. Thanks again. What kind of mileage do you think it would get??

Check it for rust, under the hatch, doors, under the car itself, all over.

mileage you'll get on it..hah not much..depending on how well the carb is dialed in 15-17....
