Default HID question

i bought an hid conversion kit and tried to install it but i couldnt get them to stay on...the passenger side wouldnt turn on at all...on the headlights there are 3 wires...black...red...and green....but on the HID's there only a red and black wire....anybody got any help?

should have been a direct plug in mod... if it isnt, you bought the wrong kit

did you get one for the 9004 bulb...?

i got an HID conversion kit, and it went in easy and works fine

the thing that confuses me is why are there only two wires on the hids but three on the headlights?

Iono man..When i got my HID's..they are ust plug in and they didnt work...come to find out who ever put the HID's together didnt wire it right so i had to flip the plugs around for them to work...R U's splicing.. or a plug and play type.......? Green HID's WOOT!!!

no not yet but i know there are not defective because i tested everything by pluggin it into my friends car...both blubs work and both ballasts are fine

Mabey it's just your plug on your car then...Did you have this problem with your stock lights..?
