V6 4.0 vs V6 3.0???
Does anybody know the reason that Ford put the 4.0 in the Mustang with only 210 hp when they put a 3.0 V6 in the Fusion with 227 HP? I have both and the Fusion is a pretty good running machine. Seems odd to me? Any input?

I never put them to the test I would hope the Stang is faster but I honestly have not run them against each other. I don't think the wife would race me!

Western PA, But they are both my cars.... Fusion daily driver Mustang is the fun car! So what one are you going to beat on????

Well,newer tech verse older tech.We are starting to get dated.Hell,there's even a nice aftermarket even to pep those fusions up even more.Thanks goodness we have some good mods as well.

also, doesn't the v6 in the fusion drive the front wheels, it wouldn't fit correctly in the mustang
