Default gas mileage mods

asides from driving habits..... what are some things that could be modded on our cars to inprove gas mileage? I checked mine the other day and I was getting 29 on the highway with me babying it.

I have a cai/tune/exhaust already.
Im wondering if there are mods out there such as intakes or anything that can create improvements.

You are already over the estimated mileage. If you are around 25 overall...there isnt a bunch more to be had. Just be easy with that right foot...really easy.

If you can drive as if you had no brakes (if you have had a cra with no brakes, you get good at it) you can pick up 2-3 mpg as you are driving a very predictive style saving tons of start/stop wasted energy.

My wife just does not get that concept. She charges to each light...oh well..

Count yourself lucky, if I told my wife to drive as if the car had no breaks, she'd get into an accident at the first intersection.

I did forget about the tire pressure. Running 35ish psi will yield another full 1-2 mpg over 28ish.

It feels a little bumpy...and does not stick as well..but you get used to it.

I have a Throttle Body spacer, a S&B intake i believe, and a borla exhaust system...Not to mention 20" rims n tires...My car does about 30 on the average...The supercharger goes on next week... She's been doing really well on gas with these prices!

Yeah I just went down to San Diego and back for about a 210 mile round trip... averaged about 24mpg overall. I was in the fast lane with my cruise set at roughly 80mph... with 3.55 gears (minus maybe 1-2mpg i'd say in comparison to the stock 3.31s).

Best thing you can do is mind the speed limits and drive her like she's about to fall apart.

ok.. underdrive pulley...theres an idea...
I know everyone says throttle body spacer is a paper weight.... but does it really help mpg even a tiny bit?
if im getting 29 on the highway...wonder what that would do to mpg?

I'm really talking longterm gas mileage improvements... cuz I think in ten years that cars will get 75 mpg and gas will be 15 bucks a gallon... you never know..

Im wondering if there is anyone working on some real mpg improvements?
