Default will a 2000 engine wiring harness work on a 2001 engine?

I have replaced my 4.6 engine in my 2000GT manual trans with an engine from a 2001 that was bolted to an automatic trans.
There is not a wire to connect to the coolant tank on the 2001engine harness that I just installed. Will my2000 engine harness work on the 2001 engine?

Yes. The alternator plug is different I believe. YOu can get the plug at Advance or Autozone.

Ford: My Son, If you keep talking like that I'm going to damn you too Hell.
Me: No thanks Ford, I've already owned a Camaro once.
