Default 01 and 03-04 cobra?

Hey guys...my dad is in the process of convincing my mom to let him buy an 01 cobra from a guy down our street. Its a vert with only 10K MILES!!! The guy wants $16,500 for it.He's added a magnaflow catback and new rims and tires, keeps it VERY VERY clean.

Butmy question is...do 01 Cobras have the same internals as the 03-04 cobras??? I thought they did but i wasn't sure[&:]. Cuz if my dad wants to S/C i didn't want to give him false info.

They have a forged crank but the same cracked powdered rods and hypereutectic pistons as the GT. They also use the tumble port 4v heads apposed to the 03-04's C model heads.

Pretty much the same as the GT. Sure GT guys do it all the time, just don't go over 450rwhp.
