Default Could use some advice.

2002 GT Conv. Auto

2.1 L Intercooled kenne bell at 12-14 psi
VT stage 2 heads and blower cams
Full exhaust with 1 chamber flows
2-inch drop
18 inch black saleen wheels on 275 back 255 up front
Subframe connectors
2800 Stall with built automatic, shift kit and trans cooler
Upgraded springs and valves
Blacked out headlights and taillights
31 moslers
Dry sump oil system with upgraded oil pump and return style fuel system
60# injectors and walbro pump
Billetrods, pistons, balanced crank

you get the point on how much work is done..

ive jumped between getting a cobra, or a 3v GT.. but ive always hung on to my 2002 GT. I just dunno what to do next.. i cant think of too many more mods available. As some of you know its an automatic 2002 GT convertible that is pretty mean. I miss the drivability the car used to have. I miss just cruising and not having to "stand" on the brake pedal cause the car just wants to accelerate. Only thing i can come up with is getting an 03-04 Cobra.. doing some appearance mods.. maybe switching the blower out and enjoying the car.

i dunno.. the car is just no longer fun to drive.. its more of a workout now. feels like ive hit a brick wall and have nowhere to go. Feel like a cobra for a daily driver and very minor mods is my only way to go.

EDIT: i know the "do what makes you happy" advice. just wanting input from the seasoned people on the forum who know what its like to basically get bored. and dont PM me asking if its for sale or if im parting the car out. if i decide to make a change, i will post the appropriate thread in the "for sale" section.. and most likely i will part it.

You could go for a terminator if you think that will make you feel any better.

But I have to know What about the car makes it not fun. I just dont understand how you feel its a work out, it still has powersteering, It cant have a stiff cluth (I hope).

You have poured yourself into that car and you will never get out what you put into it if you try to sell it. If i were you I would keep it until it is long past dead, Run it into the ground.

its an automatic.. but the stall makes it tug.. the lope is pretty evident as the car isnt smooth (this is to be expected) even the 60# injectors make it unpleasant. the car makes amazing power.. but im scared to drive it in the rain (even at 3000 rpms the tires spin)...dont get me wrong i know i wont recoup the money.. but i dunno just looking for some advice.

Well if you are looking for good, smooth and reliable car which is easy (sort of) to drive and has tons of power I would say get a terminator and either go with a small pully and a tune or a whipple/kenne bell on top. Then the car would have just as much power as yours does now with none of the draw backs you listed, except the driving in rain.
