i brought my car in for an inspection and the guy wouldnt do it because i had disconnected my battery 2 days before and the guy said that it needs run time to gather information. how long do i need to drive it before i can get it inspected?

It's in the owners manual what you need to do specifically to have it be in a ready state, but just drive it for a few days and you should be fine - be sure to mix city/highway.
the cycle is 10 mins city 20 mins hwy to reset the sensors

cool, thank you for the reference. i didnt do any of that at first, but its been a few days of city/highway driving, so i think that may have relearned it

grrrr....it didnt do it, even after 2 days of driving it. i called the guys at brenspeed and they said that it needs 70-100 miles of run time. im taking road trip and i did the steps in the manual so im hoping it works out next week. also hoping to not get pulled over lol
