Default Prochamber vs H-pipe

How much of a difference is there between the mac prochamber midpipe and h-pipe?

I've been leaning towards a prochamber for quite some time but I'm curious how much of a power and tone difference there is between the two.

The thing that sucks is mac no longer makes the catted prochamber. A few places still sell it, but it's just what they have left sitting in their inventory. And if later on I had a problem, mac couldn't replace it since it's no longer made. I want catted (need some backpressure to preserve my torque) but do not want an x-pipe (don't want raspy).

The Hpipewould be louder than the prochamber either W/ or without cats! the prochamber seems to have its own unique sound though, i for one like both over any X pipe and am currently debating which one to get myself. Im leaning towards the H just because it seems to sound more aggrressive and is waaay less $$$ than the prochamber. As far as torque lossis concerned with anO/R pipe ...its not that much to even worry about! haha, that's actually what I was looking at and what prompted my post!

I like how they say that setup is tune friendly.

That's good to know. Some made it sound like it was a lot and the sky was falling.

lol...that's the thing that makes me go [sm=jawdrop.gif].

Of course, when I look at a s/c price take that smiley face and multiply it by 100.

One thing I don't understand. I have a friend who has a 1974 dodge dart. He can get performance parts like superchargers, cams, and headers WAY cheaper than we are paying for these mustangs.

I wonder why that is.

Because of the R&D on the new models. They want to make up all of their research and development costs of these items now, not over a 30 year time span. 30 years from now, superchargers and such will be much cheaper on our rides.
