Default Different steering ratio on V-6?

Hello 6 bangers, being a GT owner I had a question regarding the steering ratio on the V-6 model. I am currently having my GT serviced for the second time in two weeks(the dreaded fuel pump TSB) and I've had a V-6 loaner for a few days now. Driving as I normally do(and curious to how the trick 6 behaves-lol) I noticed thaton a sharp right hander turn I take every morning on my way to work that the 6 needs a bit more turning to get around the corner(which I didn't realize until late into my turn!). The V-6 has the GT 17" wheels with Pirelli P-Zero(factory option), but it isn't a pony model. I like the car, but not the auto trans(feels like it's always hunting for the proper gear), but was surprised by the much louder enginecabin noise compared to the GT. Nice ride though

There may be a slightly different steering gear ratio, GT v. V6, some of it attributable to the difference in wheel offset, stock-to-stock. With the GT 17" Bullitts, the difference in your perception could be caused by smaller or no rear sway bar, less pressure in the front tires, or your imagination.

I left out an important word: "slightly different /effective/ steering ratio"; that tires thing would explain the different turning circles, GT to V6.

I must learn to remember completely before posting.

EDIT: Now I am wondering how to explain the different number of turns Lock-to-Lock from GT to V6 ...

I think it is that the V6 goes around the curve FASTER then the V8 so the V6 has more Gs to pull out of then the V8 LOL

i have a pony package and it handles way more like a gt...its likely cause of some of the suspension components as well....i believe the pp has front rear sway bars...slightly larger than reg struts...control arms and the like...of course we are only talking mm of differencee...compared to the gt the pp is smaller in size regarding these items....jmho
