Move over, Camaro.

It looks like your recent sales reign over the Mustang is now a thing of the past.

Ford’s November sales for the all-new 2015 model nearly doubled the amount of 2015 Camaros sold in November with a total of 8,728 units of the S550 being delivered. In fact, the new Mustang posted its best sales month since 2006, according to a CarScoops.com report.

By comparison, Chevy only sold 4,385 new Camaros for the month of November, a drop of 13.5 percent over last year.

That drop coupled with the Mustang’s surge in sales leads me to believe that the S550 might finally have some of those Camaro buyers seeing the light.

Among new Mustang buyers, 52 percent are opting for models equipped with the 5.0-liter V8. Twenty-four percent are opting for the 3.7-liter V6, and another 24 percent are going for models equipped with the four-cylinder EcoBoost engine.
