Rent Classic Mustangs Airbnb-style

Airbnb-style BookAClassic Mustang rental

New peer-to-peer classic car rental service has a database of 20,000 vehicles. And if driving isn’t your thing, you can add a chauffeur!

BookAClassic might be the coolest new thing you’ll hear about for a while, especially if you’re of the contingent of Mustang fans that prefers older metal over new. Similar to Airbnb and Sharegrid, BookAClassic lets you connect with private owners of classic cars or classic car specialists to get you the right ride for whatever your occasion might need.

Though the website was just launched, the service is said to be available in 36 countries worldwide according to AutoClassics. Owners can let their car earn money, and enthusiasts can get a taste of cars they could otherwise only dream of.

Like Airbnb, but More Useful

Popular uses would naturally be graduation or wedding ceremonies, but there are more applications than that. You can also book their vehicles for commercial purposes, like advertising and promotional events. And if driving isn’t your thing, a number of cars offer pricing with a chauffeur. Even if you just wanted to be picked up at an airport in a sweet ride rather than some regular taxi, you could do that, too.

If that wasn’t awesome enough, BookAClassic’s international setting gave us some unique ideas. Let’s say you want to explore the British scenery in Wales. Well, you could do that in a Jaguar E-type. Or if you prefer Italy, there are vintage Italian exotica options. Maybe you want to check out San Francisco in a vintage Mustang (at normal speeds, of course). With a database of 20,000 cars and growing, it seems like the only limit is your imagination.

We did a quick search and found that California’s database of cars has a ‘66 Mustang GT350H, and a 1969 Mustang Mach 1 among some other cool classics. Looks like it’s time to get booking.
