Boss 302 in Motor Trend’s “World’s Greatest Drag Race!”

In this clip, the Boss 302 Laguna Seca faces off against–deep breath–the Ferrari 458 Italia, Nissan GT-R, Porsche 911 GT3 RS, Porsche Cayman R, Audi R8, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, Lexus LFA, BMW 1 Series M and a Lotus Evora S. This all-star drag was shot for Motor Trend’s “Best Driver’s Car of 2011” piece, and it’s awesome. Obviously, the Pony is the cheapest car on the grid, and before you think it’s been thrown to the wolves, check out what the editors said:

“We all came away super-impressed by the Boss 302 Laguna Seca, the least expensive car of the group. Febbo summed it up with, ‘Not only does it feel raw and slightly dangerous, but it actually feels like a world-class car.'”

High praise, considering the company. Check out the video below to see how well the Blue Oval’s latest hot rod did around the legendary circuit.
