High-Speed Drift: Formula Drift Irwindale in 2.5 Minutes!

Obviously, the people who shot this didn’t drink the drift video Kool-Aid. Because if they had, they’d know that all Formula D videos are required to feature acres of slow-motion footage and a horrible techno music score.

But this video isn’t like that! It’s done with high-speed film, and it’s set to the “William Tell Overture!” It’s world’s better. And while Vaughn Gittin Jr. didn’t pilot his Mustang to a championship, it’s still a hell of a lot of fun to watch him try.

So if you couldn’t make it out to Irwindale for the 2011 season finale, sit back, turn up the speakers, and enjoy.
