Man Turns Mustang II into 4×4 Pony Car

I think we’re all in agreement that the Mustang II was pretty terrible car. It was successful, sure, but it wasn’t really good at anything. They weren’t fast and they certainly weren’t stylish. Collectors probably won’t be concerned too much about them in future. While that might sound bad for everyone, it’s actually good news if you intend to do crazy stuff with them. Like giving it a 4×4 drivetrain.

Personally, this was always one of my pet peeves with the Mustang. I mean, sure they’re a car with a long history of being fast at the drag strip, but what I really want is a car with the look of a sports car and the ground clearance of a semi.

Is this an improvement over the normal Mustang II? Well. I’d say so. The Mustang II might not have ever been cool, but now it can at least go where no Mustang has ever gone before: off road.
