Meet Classic Recreations’ 800-plus-HP Shelby GT500

Whoa.

That’s the first thing that came to mind after stumbling on this custom spin on a ’67 Shelby GT500 in a recent Digital Trends report. Although, now that I’ve had a chance to catch my breath, I’ve come up with a few more words to say about this Mustang.

Take, for example, “Beast,” “Insane,” and “Sinister,” for starters.

The custom Mustang was built by Classic Recreations, and is equipped with a Procharger F1-R supercharger system that gives the Shelby 800-plus horsepower. In addition, the car, known as the GT500CR 900S, features a carbon fiber driveshaft, Fast XFI fuel injection system, Wilwood six-piston front and six-piston rear brakes, Magnaflow exhaust, and a Detroit Speed full suspension system.

The beefed-up classic rides on 18-inch Forgeline wheels fitted with BFGoodrich tires.

We didn’t get an official word on pricing for the GT500CR 900S, but it certainly won’t be cheap. What would you say she’s worth?
