That ‘Dude In Blue’ Has a Tip for Winter Mustang Driving

I’m still trying to figure out what I find most interesting about this video – the fact that the guy convinces us to spend three minutes watching him trying to get his Mustang GT out of a driveway, or the fact that he calls his car Smurf.

Either way, it’s clear I’m not the only one drawn to the clip, as it has already pulled nearly 200,000 views since January 30.

The aim of the video is to show the downside of driving in the snow with a Mustang GT fitted with summer tires. Apparently, David (aka That Dude in Blue), who owns the Mustang, decided to post the video after his native Virginia got hit with a huge chunk of the white stuff during a recent winter storm that swept the East Coast. His hope was that it’d be a word of caution for other Mustang owners, which certainly is commendable.

And yet, it’s David’s whole blue theme that sticks out most.
