Vintage Shelbys Will Be a Hot Commodity at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale
The Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction Never Disappoints
It’s probably no big news to most that there will be a number of hot Mustangs up for the taking at next month’s Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction.
Still, we’re always amazed that there are so many cool models that make their way to the signature auction. And this year’s line-up includes a few a highly-coveted vintage Shelby models, for all the Mustang collectors flocking to the event.
The line-up includes a fully restored 1966 Shelby GT350 that won two victories in the 3,000-kilometer Caminos del Inca rallies in 1972 and 1973; a rare 1968 Shelby GT500KR Convertible once owned by tennis great Jimmy Connors; a 1965 Shelby GT350 that features a complete Paxton Supercharger fitted to the original motor; and a limited-edition 1968 Shelby GT350-H Fastback.
But if you want to roll away with one of these babies, you better be prepared to spend a hefty chunk of change.
