Ford Mustang Convertible Top
Our Mustang convertible tops are made to the exact original specifications. The convertible top is a little more expensive because it is made in the material that was originally on your vehicle. Many sites and catalogs sell a less expensive material that resembles the original but is thinner. The price listed is for the top in Euro Vinyl (formally known as double texture). This material weighs 38 ounces per square yard.

So I got under my 2013 the other day and saw this rust on the right support bar. The left one looked relatively untouched which I find bizarre. So I want to get the bars from https://mustangsupportbrace.com/
My only concern is that they say the steel is stronger and will outlive the car etc. How does this steel react in an accident. Does it fold correctly on impact or does it stay in one piece when the rest of the vehicle is going in different directions. Its a major concern if a steel bar comes through the floor. Anyone have any insight on this?

These look awesome. I need them for my 2013 mustang convertible V6 which has one that is shot. My only concern is the safety of these in an accident. Should I be worried that the strong steel won't fold at all? I have 2 kids in the back seat.
