2015 Eco boost advice needed
#12
I just went from Oklahoma to Utah, driving in Colorado on I25 to I70, hit a nasty snowstorm on the way there, and another on the way back. The winter tires barely slipped and there were more than a few trucks and cars on the side of the road so you should do just fine. Spent about $1400 including install on a separate set of tires and rims. Blizzak WS80's on Cobra 10th anniversary 18" rims.
So my advice is to get the car, get a great set of tires and rims and then just swap them when it starts to get wintery out . The tires should last a few years if you don't beat them up too much.
Good luck, have fun!

For a good part of my life,I got by fine with rear wheel drive cars in all sorts of the weather. That said,I consider my 04 GT virtually worthless in the snow.We had quite a load of it here in NY this year-there were times when I couldn't even move mine in the driveway, while my Honda Accord did just fine.
I think that the Mustang does poorly in the wet too,but all of the poor weather performance is forgiven when the roads are dry.
