I was told by my Ford tech that the 2017 Eco Boost mustang PCV valve has been upgraded and the catch can isn't required anymore. Anyone else heard this.
I haven't heard that, and personally, I would not believe it. IF that were so, then
no one would be making catch cans. I see a plethora catch can kits for 2015-2018 2.3
Ecoboost.

Catch can was the first thing I did to my 2019. After 1600 miles, I have a small amount of oil in it. Think about what that small amount of oil coming back into the intake is going to look after 50 k miles. In my opinion, it's the single most important add on to prolong your engines life span.
