[sm=youreright.gif]You are absolutely correct Nuke.

For thosenoteducatedin vehicle lighting, the reflector housing and glass lense design determines the type of light (Fog vs Driving)you have. You can change bulbs all day long but all you are changing is the intensty of the light (wattage)and the light temperature. Light temperature is NOT how hot the light gets. It is the "color" of the lighton the light spectrum.Light temperatureis probably more information that most people care about unless your trying to match the bright white or blue/white look of an HID (High Intensity Discharge) headlight system.

Suffice it to say, PIAA has a kit that includes the DRIVING LIGHT lensesand reflector housingsthat fit in place of your OEM GT fog lights in your GTgrill.

And yes, thewheelman, there are many grille kits that move your OEMfog lights around to different locations however that doesn't relate to the original question of replacing the OEM fogs (wide beam/short distance)withDriving Lights (narrow beam/long distance). Thank you for your input. There may have been others unaware that you could movethe OEM fogs to other locations.

And yes, hottymustang, for the information on the Roush fascia withit's owninstalled fog lights. I have the Roush fascia with the fog lights. This is one of the reasons I wanted to replace my OEM grille fog lights with driving lights. I don't need two sets of fog lights. One set of fogs,one set of driving lights plus, the headlights high and low beam should take care of most driving situations I might encounter. Thank you for your input.

I installed the PIAA kit on my GT last year. The lights are great, vary narrow long driving beam. It is easy to install and comes with all the proper parts. They do say to wire them to the high beam, I wired to low beam because you will never use high beam again with this kit. Be sure to not use them in any traffic.

Street Scene sells some driving light replacements. LMP carries them.
