Car Shows are all about cars... AND about their owners... if the owners aren't involved then your talking about a car museum!.
Now… yes… people DO want to enter new cars into shows… although not too many enter cars that are stock. There usually is a classification for “Modified” and “Customized”.
Yes.. people customize new cars…
Why do we do it… because it is FUN!.. although for some it is a living, where they have a business that is related to custom or modified cars and they have to have a forum to “show their wares”. Others just like customizing and modifying, and the shows give them a place to celebrate their creations.
Bottom line… the answer is the same as “Why do we modify our mustangs”…
Because can!
Because it is FUN!
Because we like the attention!
Because we want our mustang to be that “Stand Out” or “One of a kind” one.
To receive verification ours is the Fastest, we race them..
To receive verification ours is the Best Looking, we show them!
